The cottage is situated in a row of farm workers' houses in the tiny hamlet of Bedrule along a very quiet cul de sac. Plum cottage is deceptively spacious & furnished & equipped to an extremely high standard. Whatever you'd hope to find in a holiday cottage seems to be there - & more besides! It's a perfect location for relaxing & exploring the local area by car and on foot. Communication with the owners is great - lots of info in advance - & when they say they are dog friendly, they mean it!
Fantastic house in a quiet rural location. We really enjoyed staying here. We have self catered all over the UK for 35 yrs and this place is really great! Spotlessly clean, the house is generously equipped with many extra lovely touches (pile of clean dog towels) books and games on the shelves, first aid kit, etc. The garden is secure for dogs (our lab usually finds a chink and goes exploring- not here!) Beds were comfortable, reclining leather sofas in front of a huge TV and pretty good Wi-Fi.
This really is the best holiday cottage I have ever stayed at. It was so homely and well-equipped, the beds were super comfy, the house was immaculate and well-stocked. It is in a fantastic location and the owners were so lovely and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend it to anyone and everyone that asks. Thanks for a great stay.
